Webinar Training – Dealing with Pets in Rental Properties in Victoria
What we will cover:
In this 1.5 hour training session, we will cover all aspects of dealing with Pets in Rental Properties.
Pet Legislation came into effect in Victoria on the 2nd March 2020, and as a result the way we deal with pets has changed. During this session we will go through the legislation, the process the Renter, RRP and agent need to follow plus we will look at a couple of hearings that have taken place and what those outcomes are. Join us to learn more about how you can handle requests, look at some template responses and have some useful scripts to have clearer and more confident discussions with your clients.
Learning Outcomes:
- Learn how to deal with each pet request and advise your clients correctly
- Learn how the pet process works and how you can apply to VCAT if required
- Take away some useful template emails to respond to your clients and scripts for verbal conversations
- Look at the results of a couple of hearings that have been through the VCAT system
Who should attend
This training is for anyone who would like to learn more about how to deal with pets in rental properties.
The cost per attendee is $99.00 including GST (one attendee only per registration).
If you have a larger team then we can offer this training privately for you via Zoom for $550.00 including GST.
Throughout the training, participants will need to have their cameras and microphones on and are encouraged to ask questions and actively engage in discussions to ensure a thorough understanding of these critical property management topics. By the end of this session, you will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to better handle Pet situations and confidently communicate with your clients.
This session is suitable for property managers of all levels of experience.
CPD for VIC – Any activity that members undertake outside the REIV can be considered for CPD hours by lodging via the member portal. Simply login to your member account via https://members.reiv.com.au/ and record your CPD activity under the Manage Your CPD tile. Please submit evidence of the completed activity. Allocation of hours will be at the discretion of the REIV. No fees apply.
