Mitchell Property Training

Airbnb Training

3 Part Online Series:

Have you ever considered Airbnb management but don’t know where to start? Have you been approached by a client and thought maybe I could do it but feel a bit overwhelmed? Or do you just want to dip your toes in and see if it is a match? This 3 part series will give you a great basic knowledge of the platform and will give you the opportunity to ask questions at the end of each session. Plus, we will give you a hosting code to sign up to the platform and give you access to a closed PM Facebook group with other like-minded members.

Learning Outcomes:

Session One:

We will discuss how short-term managements differ from residential properties and will look at the fees and services you can offer. We will look at some of the pricing opportunities and I will show real examples of the difference in income for several properties. This session will cover the process from appraisal to sign up and preparing the property for listing

Session Two:

In this session we will deep dive into the Airbnb platform and will look at how to advertise a property correctly. We will cover some tips and tricks to get the most out of the platform and maximum exposure for each property.

Session Three:

We will cover how to create automation through the platform including the scheduled messages, the customised calendars and how to create rule sets for seasonal rates and availability. We will also look at how to sync calendars with other platforms such as VRBO & Riparide if you choose to advertise on several. And finally, we will look at ways you can manage the finances for the owners through normal trust accounting software.

At the conclusion of the training you will receive a copy of the PowerPoint slides (this can be used as a step by step guide) plus budget templates and more.
