The PM Bootcamp is a new initiative for MitchellPT and it has been developed to try and help the Industry combat the issues with staffing within their agencies.

It is no secret that there is a lack of experienced Property Managers in the market and as a result many offices are hiring new entrants to the industry and training them within their own organisation. One of the issues is the current team are generally already at capacity so for them to take the time to train another team member means additional work and stress. This results in new entrants to the industry not being fully trained and, in many cases, not feeling supported and some leave the industry as a result.

We have created this bootcamp as a thorough two-day workshop to train Property Managers every aspect of the Property Management role, from listing, leasing, management and vacating tenancies. We will cover legislation, regulations, technology, software, the importance of relationship building, fees, communication, conflict resolution, risk management and so much more led by the highly skilled and experienced Hayley Mitchell.

Hayley started in Real Estate in 1999 and has built a successful career working in all facets of Property Management including owning her own businesses. A fully licenced Estate Agent, Hayley has won numerous awards and accolades including REIV Property Manager of the year twice and was also named one of Elite Agents Top 50 Industry influencers in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022 & 2023.

There is also a private Facebook group for all attendees to join, share ideas & offer ongoing support to one another at the conclusion of the event. The idea is for attendees to have their own online community to stay in touch.

CPD for VIC – Any activity that members undertake outside the REIV can be considered for CPD hours by lodging via the member portal. Simply login to your member account via https://members.reiv.com.au/ and record your CPD activity under the Manage Your CPD tile. Please submit evidence of the completed activity. Allocation of hours will be at the discretion of the REIV. No fees apply.

Event Schedule

Wednesday 5th June– PM Bootcamp will begin at 9.00am through until 4.30pm with breaks for morning tea, lunch & afternoon tea.

Thursday 6th June – PM Bootcamp will commence at 9.00am with breaks for morning tea & lunch. The event will conclude 4.00pm.
